Fortunately, exhibition operations in Germany have been slowly ramping up again since the beginning of May. The lockdown hit the entire cultural scene, including visual artists. Here are a few questions we would like to ask you about the “New Normal”:

1. As an artist, during the lockdown period, have you seen any major dips compared to roughly last year?

2. Have you had to cancel or postpone exhibitions in the last few weeks and months because of the corona pandemic?

3. Regarding the work situation in the studio: have you been able to continue working as usual over the past few weeks? Or were you able to concentrate on certain aspects of your work during the lockdown for which there is not enough time in the hectic everyday life? Were there even "corona works" created?

4. Have you thought about particularly attractive or innovative formats or trade fair appearances for the time after the lockdown? If yes, which?

5. Which important exhibitions or participations in trade fairs would you like to realize during the course of the year, if possible, and to what extent has your annual planning changed now?

6. How confident are you that the art and exhibition industry will be spared another lockdown?
