"I'm always excited about my artistic results. This excitement is my drive, my energy. To define new paths. Innovation was and is my main passion alongside philosophy. Art is the transport medium for me.
My art is the abstraction of facts from countless scientific, cultural, social, ecological and other fields. Getting to the heart of complex issues is my challenge. I have a message. Passing on knowledge and experiences is important to me.
Kilian Saueressig lives and works in Münsterland, Germany. It is his own well thought-out and complex art universe on all topics of world events. Art as an expression and output medium of his thoughts. In his forgery-proof art, he combines his passion for philosophy and his urge for knowledge and innovation and his feeling for colors and shapes that can be discovered by the viewer.
"As an artist, I'm looking for knowledge and dialogue. The dialogue with myself and the world. Always on the lookout for things to "click". The aha experience, a coherent and logical conclusion that didn't exist before. The flash of inspiration The on-site viewer uses the remote control to enter into a dialogue with the work of art and at the same time almost inevitably with himself. Self reflection.
By digitizing the work of art, the work of art embarks on a journey into the large virtual world. It frees itself from static constraints and begins the journey through the depths of the Internet, the intellectual network of mankind. The artwork reaches a higher level. Quite analogous to higher levels in religion/belief. At the same time, it loses sharpness and plasticity. Quite analogous to Heisenberg's Uncertainty Relation."
"My thematic universe represents a flexible system of order. It arranges my art, similar to an outline and a table of contents in a book. At the same time, the art key is also a creative tool for the development of new works of art. The works of art are divided into four basic levels, the Globes, Cycles, Segments and the Variations. These four levels form the basic thematic universe of my art. Analogous to the structure of an atom (globe), with its atomic nucleus around which the electrons (segments) revolve on different paths (cycles). The variations are intended to be analogous to the different energy states or stimuli of the atom. The themes can contain very concrete conceptual associations, as well as emotional associations and their mixed forms. Completely analogous to a composition for an opera (the association of the terms, the construction/composition around a musical story) or the jam session (the spontaneous association of emotions)."
"The art key shows the origin or the creation of the work of art. It shows the different, essential stylistic devices that have contributed to the creation of the work of art. Where does the idea for a work of art come from? From the imagination? From an inspiration from collected impressions of life? As diverse as life, my ArtKey is a kind of barcode for my art. A kind of virtual blueprint, quite analogous to our DNA and the blueprint of life it contains. ..."
"My works of art need different technologies in their creation process, from the most diverse developments of materials to the most diverse shaping and coloring technologies - to name just a few. In my construction kits there are therefore many and very different material compositions. Rigid materials, elastic materials, malleable materials , translucent materials, colors, etc. My toolboxes contain the tools as well as technologies for composing the individual elements of my construction kits. Hydroforming, primary forming, forming, laser structuring, ..."
"Art, the mirror of technology? The alienator and exaggerator of technology, of society? Any art movement is always a child of its time. It is always in mutual interaction with its environment and in particular with technological developments in our modern age. ... It can be banal, meaningful, liberating, ... Art has many facets, but significantly fewer than the facets of humanity and therefore still plenty of room for new art movements and discoveries. ..."
